Congratulations to Desmond & Sophia. These are two of the nicest, kindest people I know. God is proud of you. Keep on being a great example and an inspiration to the rest of us!

Here’s a little something that you may not know. I was asked to help out with the polaroids during dinner instead of shooting the church wedding. However, I thought I would have a much better excuse to walk around and to get close to the couple if I was shooting. Brilliant right? Beats sitting around on a pew 20 rows back!

Halfway through the shoot, I ran out of memory because I forgot to delete the previous batch of photos. So there I was, going through the pics one by one, clearing out the pictures that are destined for the bin, pretending to look all professional and serious. Suddenly, the camera decided to help me out and was creating space out of no where. I then realised, that it was auto deleting everything. Everything, including all that I had shot up until then.

It has been a long while since my heart has skipped a beat. I felt every moment of that nanosecond when time stood still and I saw the bride standing at the entrance waiting for her entrance.

To cut a long story short, I managed to recover the lost photos through a nifty program called PhotoRescue (you guys are a life saver, I will pay you the licence fees, eventually :S pardon me for the tardiness…).

So, here’s to a happy ending for everyone :). Check out the wedding pictures here and the reception pictures here
