I was not expecting her to cry. She’s normally tough as nails and will look you in the eye without glancing away. There is something special about the moment when you give yourself away. All husbands should remember the look in their eyes when you told them that you would love them and stand by them no matter what.

“May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer; may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.” Proverbs 5:18-19
